This week’s calendar was for Club Champ races 3 &4 but the weather got the better of the race committee, as did the fleet. Despite best efforts to chase the wind and shift courses all the way towards South Head, our little fleet of sabots found themselves no better than the Middle Harbour fleet sitting in irons off Lady Jane. Odd conditions, complaints of boredom, man and a resolution to protest the Race committee ended with smiles. We will take it as a win despite no results and hope for better conditions this coming week.
