The best way to find out about the club is to visit us and meet some members.

The club is open on Sundays during terms 4 and 1 from 8.30am until about 4pm.

Our club is run by volunteers, so if your query cannot answered by the frequently asked questions (FAQs) and you’ve had a good look through the website, then send us a message and we will get back to you, hopefully within a couple of days.

Cherub NSW State Titles

Jules Hall

Last Sunday VA12SC club hosted the second part of the first round of the Cherub NSW State Championship in Sydney Harbour.

We had 23 starters from Drummoyne Sailing Club, Lane Cove 12ft Sailing Club, Belmont 16ft Sailing Club, Abbotsford 12ft Sailing Club and our 2 club Cherubs from Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club.

While the breeze was only around 8 to 10 knots we had great racing followed by drinks and a BBQ back at the club. Our head coach, Adele Phillips, coming a very close second overall.

On a personal note and on behalf of the Cherub association, I would like to thank all the participants and volunteers, especially:
Robert for helping out on the water and after, getting the kitchen and the club sorted for the day, his daughter for managing the BBQ,
David for helping to the organisation, helping out on the water,
William and Jack for their support on the water and for the BBQ,
Jules, Marty, Alex for your help at the club and on the water
Fiona and Sasha for managing the canteen and food supply
Pierre, Ouessanne and Nico for helping cleaning and closing the Club.
