Beautiful weekend of sailing!
Miles Davey
Our Commodore and Vice were away this weekend but club operations ran smoothly. Our sailing families pulled together and ran a successful day of racing in beautiful conditions and; given the heat on Sunday one could not have asked for a better place to spend much of the day.
Dave Keyte set marks, Willi stepped up for the first time as our RO with Dave and we had a nice fleet of F11s Sabots and PJs. It seems that we have settled into a nice regular pattern that allows our enthusiastic young sailors to develop their skills. Many thanks to our race fleet families. This weekend highlighted what our club is about coming together, mucking in to get everyone out on the water and having fun. Lessons were learnt for next time and everyone went home happy.
Happy sailing - see you all out on the water next week!
