The Vaucluse Amateur 12ft Sailing Club is hosting the 2023 VA12SC Head of the Harbour Regatta on Sunday 3rd December 2023.

This is a regatta for Sabot 1-Ups and 2-Ups.

It is suitable for all skill levels. There will be two fleets:

• Senior Fleet

• Junior Fleet (including 2 up, and Green fleet sailors)

The regatta is a great way to prepare for the upcoming Sabot Nationals.

The day will run as follows (extract from Notice of Race)

• Registration and safety checks 9:00 – 10:00.

• Competitor Briefing 11:00

• Not before 12.00 Warning signal first race

• Followed by 2 more races, maximum 3 races

• Minimum 2 races to constitute a series.

• No warning signal will be made after 3:30pm

Entry Fees

• Sabot Seniors: $50

• Sabot Junior: $50

Its is a requirement of the event that all participants have paid their Annual Southern NSW Sabot Association Fees. Sailors will be accepted from other zones provided membership of that zone is current.

This is a regatta for Sabot 1-Ups and 2-Ups.

It is suitable for all skill levels. There will be two fleets:

• Green Fleet for first-timers (including VA12SC LTS Graduates in Sabots and PJs & Red Ribbon sailors)

• Open Fleet

The regatta is a great way to prepare for the upcoming Sabot Nationals and Sabot Week.

The day will run as follows (extract from Notice of Race)

• Registration and safety checks 9:00 – 10:00.

• Competitor Briefing 11-00

• Not before 11:55am Race 1

• Followed by Back-to-back races to be sailed (6 races are scheduled)

• No warning signal will be made after 3:30pm

Entry Fees

• Sabot 1-Ups: $40

• Sabot 2-Ups: $60
