Membership Categories
Family membership
Family memberships are a package deal to make the cost of membership for families with multiple children more accessible. Membership is required for children and adults competing in club racing and our Learn to Sail courses. Members also receive discounts our popular Holiday Camps. Adults in a Family Membership are deemed Ordinary members and are eligible for committee positions and key privileges.
Ordinary Membership
An Ordinary member is above the age of 18 and intends to take part in the sailing activities of the Club either as a sailing participant, Learn to Sail participant or volunteer. This membership can be paired with the junior membership for single parent families. Ordinary members are eligible for committee positions and Key privileges.
Junior Membership
Junior members are under the age of 18 and take part in the sailing activities of the club. This membership must be accompanied by an ordinary membership. No joining fee payable when the parent ordinary member has paid their individual joining fee. Junior members are not eligible for committee positions, nor are they eligible for club access key privileges.
Associate Membership
An Associate member is a club member who is above the age of 18 and supports the objectives of the club but doesn't fit into any of the other listed membership categories. Associate members are permitted to use and enjoy club facilities provided to members. Associate members are not eligible for committee positions, nor are they eligible for club access key privileges.
